It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

A silly idea
I've just read that our Government has given £51,000 to the Isles of Scilly to cover the cost of free bus transport for the over 60s. Pity there are no buses on the islands.
