It seems to me that blogging is about as useful a way of passing the time as tossing pebbles into the sea, so for what it's worth - and that's not a lot - here are a few pebbles.

Back from France...
...having slept too much, read too much, eaten too much and drunk too much. The diet begins today!
Oh, the Good Granny Guide I mentioned before we went away proved a success after all.
I thought at first it was intended as a tongue in cheek effort, but from what I gathered from comments by She Who Must Be Obeyed, there is a slightly serious side to it. Perhaps best if you don't bother.

From what I can gather through clandestine research, grannies take their jobs seriously even when at cross purposes to what others may think.
BTW - I am not sure that one can really sleep, read or eat too much when away from home.
